regarding my warrenty.

i have next business day support and xps technical support on my alienware m17x laptop. my question is, does either one of those cover hardware such as getting a new laptop screen or getting my processor replaced?

 

and on another topic, am i eligible for a windows 7 upgrade? i bought it between the times it says but i never received a windows 7 upgrade code.

The warranty will cover the failure of the LCD or the CPU, yes - unless it's clear there's been accidental damage (i.e., a shattered LCD screen WILL NOT be covered by the warranty).

You'll have to call to find out if you are eligible for a 7 upgrade.

A scratched screen is considered accidental damage - it will not be covered.  Whether the CPU is at fault - or something else - you'll need to contact a technician to troubleshoot.  CPUs very, very rarely fail.

thank you for your response, what if my lcd screen just has scratches in it, some deep ones, and my cpu has just been acting really weird lately.
