removing dvd from xps m1530

While trying to upgrade from Vista to Windows 7 with a proper installation DVD,  the program could not get the computer to reboot. I forced a shut down and now the computer will not open beyond the windows boot manager, that informs me that "the application is missing or corrupt.

To compound the problem, I cannot retrieve the installation DVD because there is no physical eject button on this series of laptops.

Any solutions?

There should be a small hole on the face of the DVD drive door. You use a bent paperclip and push in slightly to release the door lock manually.

There is no door, merely a slot.
