screen rotation not wanted

Hi, it seems all DELL machines use CNTL+ALT+(arrow keys) to rotate the screen, But I have applications that use that key combination so my question is how can I turn this 'feature' off and pass that combination to the applications...

Thanks

Hi frankwal,

Please follow the steps provided below to disable Hot keys:

1. Press the CTRL+ALT+F12 keys to open Intel Control Panel.
2. Go to the “Hot Keys” tab.
3. Uncheck the box “Enable Hot Keys”.
4. Click “Apply” and then on OK.

Please reply to this message with the system model number(Inspiron 15R) if the steps provided fails to work.

This is a DELL Inspiron 17R 5720 and thank you, your steps were followed and a was able to disable the hot keys, as your suggested. The key combination is also being passed to the application.  Again Thanks...

BTW, is there really a need for this screen rotation, Dell is ONLY machine that does this.

Hi frankwal,

Thank you for your reply and I am glad to know that the issue has been resolved. The screen rotation feature is a default option provided in the graphics card application and it can also be disabled.
