searched for the Drivers on the support website and was not able to find drivers for XPS

was working on a Dell Laptop:

it has no drivers and no internet

I just loaded Windows 7 on it

this was a Dell XPS 14 Z.
S/T # 9XNN5R1

My question is I was going to down load the drivers from another PC,
on to a DVD / CD.

However when I went to the Dell Web site, I was not able to locate the
drivers to
down load.

and Ive checked several times, looking for drivers
under Dell Down loadsn

and I was just going around in circles from the dell down loads,
back to picking the model number, (XPS-14Z)
and then back to the same thing..

Here is the actual link I was on:

http://www.dell.com/support/home/us/en/19/Products/?app=drivers

and under Drivers and Down loads,

All I was able to find was:

Dell SupportAssist for PC's

Automated, proactive and predictive support.

I down loaded the

Automated, proactive and predictive support.

but not sure if that will help install the drivers.

Other than that, I searched for the Drivers on the support website.

but didnt find any...

Do you actually have to install the drivers directly from the
web site to the actual computer?

Does anyone know what am I may be doing wrong here ?

RE: searched for the Drivers on the support website and was not able to find drivers for XPS

Hi Spence,

Here is the drivers download page for the XPS 14z  L412Z model.  (It defaults to Windows 7 64-bit for me but check to make sure it's the same for you).

You don't see the various categories such as Networking, Video, etc., listed there?

You should absolutely be able to copy those over to a CD or flash drive and then use that to install them onto the XPS 14z.  Let me know if you're not seeing the full category list of drivers from that link I posted above.

Thank you,

Todd
