security of encryption FDE SDE on DELL XPS 9530 with PM851 Samsung SSD

Hi,

I am intrested in laptop:

DELL XPS 9530 i7-4712HQ, 16GB, with 512GB PM851 Samsung SSD

I've been reading about full disc encryption / self encryption of that laptop for few hours without much luck now and I want to ask you for some clarification about it's security, or direction where I should look:

1. I have been reading that this laptop supports full drive encryption / self encryption drive. That can replace software based encryption like True crypt or bitlocker. It only requires HDD / ATA password to work. Is that true for configuration I mentioned above?

2. I have been reading that dell can provide master password, when hdd / ata password is forgotten. Does new password generated that way, guarantees that data currently stored on the drive is secure (can not be accessed) without knowing original password?

3. I also read posts on this page that states it is possible for file recovery specialised companies to recover data stored on drive by some specialised procedure. Is it true for this laptop?

4. Is it secure for vualnerabilites like described here: https://wikis.utexas.edu/display/ISO/Breaking+ATA+password+security

Thank you for your answers or links to specification / brochures that I could missed.
