strange ticking noise when lifting up my dell xps 14z
Hey all,
When I lift up my laptop (XPS14z) its make strange noise like tick. just one tick per lift if ill move it fast again then the tick will occur again.
what the hell is that ?

If I won't move the laptop everything is fine when I lift it up from the desk in a fast movement then the tick occur.
when I shake it I can hear something moving inside I mean its not 100% quite.

I am sorry for the inconvenience. Please pay attention to check from which side of the laptop the tick noise comes. Is there any sound from the system while you are working on it? Do you experience anything moving inside while you gently shake the laptop?

yes left to the mouse pad, I think its coming from the HDD

Hi, I am facing a similar problem. My Dell XPS14z have started to making a strange noise. I can definitely say it comes from the left side and seems to get louder after many hours working.
