studio 1737-noise-bad temperature control

In my studio 1737 the fan start at around core temp 40 degrees C and run until about 35 degree. That mean that the fan is running almost all the time as a temp around 40 degree is normal when the laptop is running idle. The processor is a P8600 which is the new 25 watt type. My old Latitude D520 has a T7200 core duo which use 35 watt. Is this laptop the temperature control is working perfect, that is, starting around 45-50 degree, cool down very fast and then stop. The I8kfan control utility  for dell models will not work on the studio line either, neither will speedfan or any other fan control utility.Reading others experiences this seem to be a general problem with the studio line laptop.  Tried different BIOS's to, but the issue remains. Will probably return my studio if Dell can't come up with a solution. Although the studio is a beautiful laptop, there's several design issues with these models, something I didn't expect from Dell
