too low sound in Inspiron 700m
The sound on my Inspiron is very soft, not matter what I do. I have the volume up as high as it goes on the Control Panel audio. When I plug in the headphones it's slightly better, but still not loud enough.
I did recently reinstall Windows using the Dell disks. Can anyone help??

No, I reinstalled Windows XP -- or rather a technician did it for me, so I don't know about the order.

Did you install the system drivers in the correct order?
Was it Windows 7 you reinstalled? I made an in depth guide here if it is helpful. However you can skip step 2 and 3 since you have the Dell discs.
