ok. if you are correct. then you just made my day! haha. i will upgrade my lovely 600m to a dothan. not now thought. maybe later this year. i cant wait for more power. my 600m is great except the stupid HD heat so im stuck with 4200rpm. other than that, its perfect for me

hmm. so can i put a: Intel Centrino 760 Pentium M 2.0Ghz 2MB L2 Cache Dothan 533Mhz FSB SL7SM on my dell 600m? it currently has p-m1.5g cpu (the original p-ms)

Yep, you may just need a bios flash but it will work.
As a note though the 2.0's and 2.1's are expensive, I just checked the price on a 2.1 and it was Liike $650 just for the CPU.
