warranty

Anyone else being told that their warranty does not cover water damage when there is no history of water damage? I have taken my laptop apart to prove there is no water damage to myself. Is Dell going under? Is everyone else getting this excuse?Does Dell realize that most people will just give up at this point?

Water damage is similiar to water vapor or steam damage. If you place a cell phone without a case in your pocket, perspiration can cause water damage. Depending on where you leave your computer steam can condense inside it. If the apartment is very humid or a humidifier is used excessively in a heated room steam can seep into it. Even leaving the bathroom door while you take a steam shower can cause water condensation in a warm computer.
