which RAM type for Inspirion 15R 5521 ?
I have an Inspirion 15R 5521 with Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-3517U CPU @ 1.90GHz and dedicated video AMD Radeon HD 8730M
Inside I have 4GB DDR3 model Hynix HMT351S6EFR8C-PB.
It is clearly stated that this is 1.5 V memory and hwinfo or CPUid says the same
However on DELL official support and Corsair, Kingston...it is written that I shall buy DDR3L (1.25V) for upgrade
I am confused ...what 4GB SO-DIMM is suitable for me?

I got news
I have tested my laptop with both DDR3 and DDR3L RAM...it works
Moreover, the laptop works with BOTH in dual channel mode
I don't knw how to upload screen capture of CPU-Z and HwInfo
Problem solved, please close this thread

DDR3L is now much more common and will work with your system.

I know that these days DDR3L is very common but will my system work?
I already have 4GB DDR3....will it work mixed?
