will this 8gb RAM card work on my inspiron 7559? Please help! Details in post
The old card is 8gb DDR3L....couldn't find much on the particulars online but managed to find this on an ebay post:

If it's usable with my Inspiron 7559 it'd save me from having to spend extra money so any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance for the help!

From reading the memory specs you provided and comparing to the 7559 memory specs it looks like it should work.
Memory
Inspiron 7557/7559 ships with DDR3L 1600 MHz memory. The system has two memory (RAM) slots, which are accessible by removing the bottom base cover.
The "L" in DDR3L stands for low-voltage. It uses up to at least 15% less power than DDR3 and 40% compared to DDR2.
Inspiron™15 - 7557/7559 has 2 SODIMM memory slots which support: Dual-channel DDR3L & 1600 MHz Inspiron™15 - 7557/7559 supports a maximum of 16 GB system memory.
