xps 17 l702x does not power up
hello,
yesterday i was gaming while suddenly the whole computer just went dead, the fan stopped blowing and the screen went black.
i checked the power cord and saw that the blue LED was not working, so i swithed power socets, but no avail. only when i removed the other end of the power cable out of my computer did the light turn back on. so no problem with the power supply.
the power button does not do anything as the computer does not respond in one way or an other. i thought maybe it was overheated so i left it alone for a night but when i tried to use it again the next morning it still did not power on.
stuff i tried:
holding the power button for 30s to release excess energy from the system, to no avail.
as the computer can not even power on i am unable to do a system diagnostics, so i am at a loss on what to do (at least untill monday when i can contact tech support)
from my fathers computer

Hi,
Please confirm if the AC adapter is connected to the system, the power on the AC adapter goes off?
If yes, seems to be an issue with the system board. Please provide me with the system Service Tag in a private message so that I can access the system details.
I have added you as a friend. Please accept my friend request by clicking on my name highlighted in blue and then click on “Friends” tab at the top and then click on “Request to Review” and finally click on “Accept” button.
I am sending you a private message as well. Click on “Inbox” to respond to the message and provide system’s Service Tag and contact details so I may access your system records and check for further course of action. You could also click on Start Conversation to send a private message.
Please reply to my private message.
Thanks and Regards
