xps m1730 & win10

Hello all....I have recently upgraded my xps m1730 from vista pro to win 10.  Is that a way to shut off the front panel lights and the lights on the keyboard.  They suckup too much battery life.

Thanks

Hi BruceJamesSwift,

Dell XPS M1730 has not been tested for Windows 10. You will not find Windows 10 driver for this system. However you can install the Dell Quickset Windows vista 32 bit or Windows XP driver found under Application section in compatibility mode.

Hey Ravi.....thanks for the info, but the Dell Quickset would not install on Windows 10.  However, I was able to go into the bios and turn all of the keyboard and panel lights.  Saves a ton of battery life.

Regards,

Bruce
