5999 Display Issue

Hi All

Not quite sure how to explain my "issue". I was connecting to a NVR today with 18 cameras attached to it when I noticed that they (cameras) were "pixelating", but not in the normal bad picture quality way, but more in a not enough bandwidth way. After scratching around a bit and not finding anything wrong with the cameras or the network, I connected with another laptop (cheap piece of Core-Duo Toshiba we use in the field) and found that when viewing the same cameras that there was no "pixelation".

This will lead me to conclude that the only other thing it could be is that my Dell's screen card is not coping, which would be rather strange considering it has a decent Radeon card in it. Question now is, is it using the powerful Radeon or the lower spec Intel unit.

How can you tell? How can I fix it? etc. ad nauseum.

Thanks,

R
