Alienware 13 R1 Issue

Hi guys, having a problem with my A13 R1. I have had it for around a year now. 

Every time i open a game now, the laptop can't run it very well. For example when i run The Witcher 3, the start menu is under 20 fps and i have an Alienware graphics amplifier with a GTX 980 in it. It gets even worse when i load a save game, the loading screen goes down to 4fps and i can't even play the game as it takes forever to load. 

This just started happening today, yesterday it was fine. I was getting 60 fps in the menu and 40 to 50fps during gameplay on ultra settings yesterday. I reinstalled The Witcher 3, nothing happened, still getting the same results. I played another game, Gang Beasts; and i can't even get past the title screen. It was also at 4fps. 

I tried running it with the onboard 860m and i still get the same results. My alienware graphics amplifier runs fine, i restarted my laptop, disconnected the amp cable and still nothing. The same results.

Everytime i run any game, it fails to go over to load or acheive a playable framerate. 

Someone please help me.....
