CPU Temperature

I have got the Vostro 1500 series.

A few days ago i checked the Temperature with the Intel Thermal Analysis Tool (tat).

While idle i get readings of about 40°c. If i work normaly with it i get readings on about 45 to 50.

If i use it to play game it quickly rises to about 70°c which i think is to high.

Are those readings normal? The Laptop is perfectly new and not quite much used yet.

Thanks in advance

Hey Dewi,

I have a similiar problem, my laptop a vostro 1700 shuts down when i play games because of overheating. I installed a program I8kfanGUI which gives temp info and allows manual control of the computer fans, maybe this would be useful to you.

Hi

Hi Guys,

I have a vostro 1700, bought second hand. All seems to be fine, except that none of the software I run can seem to detect any sensors. Sisfoft sandra cannot find any temperature or fan sensors. Speedfan detects the GPU temperature one only.

How many sensors can you detect in your 1700 ?
