Dell PC Checkup
Today, I scanned my computer with the PC Checkup. After finished checkup, I found a error message. The error message was the SMART Short Self Test timed out in the test. What is the problem in my computer?

HoAlex,
If all tests passed, then everything is ok. I have seen the smart test fail the first time you run the Dell PC Check, then it goes away. I have also seen the smart test fail, right after you restore the system to factory. Running the test, using F12 has been the test that is most accurate.

HoAlex,
Run the test again and see if it still shows an error.
You can also run the full diagnostics, press F12 at the startup screen. Report back any error messages.

Hi Rick,
I did the diagnostics test that you told me to do. I passed all the tests, including the hard drive.
What should I do next?
