Dell Studio 1558 - Screeching Noise
Hi, I wrote an email to Dell Support about 3 days ago, but I didn't get an answer yet so there's my problem..
I have Dell Studio 1558 and I've never had any problems with it until now.. When I'm listening to music, watching a film or anything, the screeching sound is heard.. It doesnt matter if Im using Windows Media Player or watching videos on YouTube etc... I tried to use my headphones but the noise still could be heard.. :/ I think this started after my latest upgrade, when I upgraded my BIOS.
There's the reference no. of my email I wrote the last day: <ADMIN NOTE:Reference no.removed per privacy policy>

Hello Olivia. I don't know what is causing that. Try running the Dell Diagnostics audio tests to narrow the problem down to the hardware or software.

Forgot to say, if you do not hear the noise during the tests then the problem is in the software, and if you do hear it then the problem is in the hardware.
