How to use Biometric finger print identifier on Dell Latitude 620 laptop

I have got Dell Latitude 620, there is Biometric strip and I don't know how to use it, could any one tell me how to use it, Note : I didn't added any extra hardware/software to my Laptop this Biometric is there when I bought the Laptop.
