Low CPU speed
My inspiron 1150 has pentium 4 at 2.66 but only runs at 1.6. How can I make it ran at full speed? -2.66 mhz

You need to get the right CPU for the system. The 1150 supports only desktop P4 CPUs on the 400 MHz bus. Sounds like you installed a mobile CPU, which will lock at 1.6 GHz.

Thanks. The p4 2.66 I had runs is fsb533 intalled celeron 2.4ghz at 400fsb. Now runs full speed.
