My dell Inspiron 15 3542 sudden screen off & next boot 7 beeps
Hi dell,
My Dell Inspiron 15 3542 first boot sudden screen off and long press of power button to power off.
Second boot 7 beeps observed . After waiting for 30 min and power on it will boot after that again sudden screen off.
Please suggest what is the next step I have follow .

7 beeps is a mainboard or CPU failure -- on this model, the CPU is permanently soldered to the mainboard, so both must be replaced.

Hi
I have kept laptop full night on now it is working. I have to see after shutdown and restart it will work or not.
if i want change main board what is cost ??

Looks like $150-250 for the board depending on the CPU and video type. Add $100 or so if you have a shop change it (for labor).
