Need the reset for password on Latitude C400, bios revision A06, original password.?
Trying to reset the password on and old C400, it is asking for primary or administrator password. I have no idea what to put in there, and can't see if the computer will function at all! Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

You'll need to call Dell with verification of ownership -- it may not be worth it though, since the call will cost about $60, which is probably about six times more than the entire system is worth.
The other option is to replace the mainboard - which is probably well under $60.
