Period Key Malfunction
The period key on my laptop has not been working for months now. I'm having to copy and past periods when I need to use them. I tried to replace the key, but it seems as though the connections underneath are messed up. Any suggestions on where to start to solve this problem?

Hello,
You can either keep up what you do now, have the keyboard replaced, write one long sentence, or buy a new laptop.
I'm sorry that you need to make that choice. I know of no way to fix that yourself.

Replace the keyboard with a new one - they should run in the $25-30 range. One source: www.parts-people.com.
