Thats what I want to know.... What does the A13 bios do?
We want a list of fixes for each Bios!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm not related to Dell but I doubt they have changed anything. The only reason they release a new BIOS is so they can tell their customers that they are working on the annoying fan problem even though there will never be a solution for it. In my opinion it's a bad thermal design of the 1747/1749 models that cannot be fixed with a BIOS upgrade. So they keep on playing the game until everybody gave up. They have been successfully doing this for the last 6 - 10 months.

It has now made my fan more annoying............. wish I remember what BIOS I was previously..... it was much quieter!
