Windows 7 clean install from "Upgrade option" DVD
(sorry for my english)
I have done a clean install on a system with Vista 64 Home Premium with a Dell Windows 7 "Upgrade option" DVD without use the "Upgrade Assistant" DVD.
My system is a:
- 1 N10X1602 1 STUDIO XPS 16 : INTEL CORE 2 DUO PROCESS
- 1 CAMERA : INTEGRATED CAMERA WITH FACIAL R
- 1 MEMORY : 4096MB (2X2048) 1067MHZ DDR3 DU
- 1 HARD DRIVE: 320GB FREE FALL SENSOR (7200
- 1 OPTICAL DRIVE : INTERNAL DVD+/-RW (DVD &
- 1 GRAPHICS : 1GB ATI RADEON HD 4670 GRAPHI
- 1 WIRELESS : INTEL WIFI LINK 5100 (802.11
- 1 WIRELESS : EUROPE DELL BLUETOOTH 370 CAR
I run Windows 7 compatibility check and everything was fine
. I have manually installed:
- from CD Dell H:\DellWin7Upgrade\DRIVERS\BOTH\BT370 driver Bluetooth for my mouse and it works OK
- from CD Dell H:\DellWin7Upgrade\DRIVERS\BOTH\OD_Eject Title: Input:Dell ODD Eject Button Utility
But I have these problems:
1. CD eject touch button do not works
2. I do not see the on screen messages (OSD) when I change the volume with the touch buttons In the device manager
3. I have two devices not recognized properly: ACPI\ITE8708 *ITE8708 \Device\NTPNP_PCI0026
This is the "Drivers Correct Order Install" (Dell site)
- 1. Desktop System Software (DSS) or Notebook System Software (NSS)
- 2. Chipset
- 3. PCMCIA/Smartcard controller
- 4. Intel Storage - Intel Matrix Storage Manager
- 5. Audio Adapter - 6. Video Adapter -
- 7. Network Interface Card (NIC)
- 8. Dell Control Point (DCP)
Questions:
1. what I have to do to finish my Windows 7 new install?
2. I have downloaded these files (driver for my PC on Dell):
1640_A12_win.exe CW1358A2.exe DELL_DATASAFE-LOCAL-2-0_A01_R249580.exe
DELL_MULTI-DEVICE_A02_R242753.exe DELL_QUICKSET_A00_R226931.exe
R224473.exe R226750.exe R226903.exe R227577.exe R242713.exe
GA11N-A101.zip
what driver I have to install?
