XPS M1530 getting too hot

Hi

I recently purchased XPS M1530. I am currently observing two things:

1. My 90w Ac Adaptor (PA 10 family) gets burning hot while charging. I really mean it...burning hot...

2. The Hard disc side of the palm-rest gets moderately hot.

I need to know if these symptoms are o.k. or I need to take some preventive measures. Kindly guide.

The adapter should not get that hot - call Dell and have it replaced.

I just recieved my M1530 a couple of weeks now and hadn't noticed the AC adapter getting very hot, it's only moderately warm.  However the wrist resting area of my laptop does get hot on the left side, i'm assuming it's the hard drive, I did buy a notebook cooling pad from Newegg.com for about $30 by bytecc, it's cooled it down considerable on idle, but still runs a bit warm while playing games as expected, but it's much better than before.  You will definitely want to get a cooling pad!
