inspiron 7778: M2 SSD slot: PCIe x2? PCIe x4?
I want to buy an SSD drive for this laptop, but do not know what the protocol supports slot M2
and therefore can not determine the SSD model.
I want to buy an SSD drive in this laptop

The 7778 (Skylake version) is SATA - not PCIe.

Hi, did you found out already? Looks like its an PCIe connector. That at least how theSSD connector in the notebook looks like. What version has it?
