If you formatted your computer, it wouldn't run.
Did you do a factory restore or a re-install?

raananv,
I am sorry, those instructions were for someone else who needed to install an audio driver. I posted in the wrong thread.
Is your problem that you don't know which wireless driver to download, or you know which one but it won't work? If the former, go to How to use the drivers & downloads website and go to Section 3 which explains how to find out what hardware is in your computer, then you can get the driver for it.

Hi Raananv,
I work for Dell, with the Social Media Group. I see that the wireless adapter is not detected in the device manager. The first thing to check in the Bios, by Press F2 at the Dell logo, and see if the wireless is turned on. If its still not detected, you may have to reseat the wireless card, you can follow this link to reseat the wireless card, http://dell.to/cn6CxY.
Let me know if this helps.
Thank you

Hi Royan,
I have a similar problem and tried your suggest but the problem still there.
In device manager, I did not see a wi-fi comtroller.
There is an un-recognized network controller.
In reboot screen, it shows :Intel wireless" as wi-fi and enabled.
The minicard is WM3945ABG.
Any other suggestions? Thanks.
BTW, I have requested a system recovery CD a while ago.
They sent me a recovery CD for M051, not sure if it also works for E1405.
I had a few problems after system recovery using the CDs.
I fixed most of them, but got stuck on wireless.

Hi Tianxi,
I see that the wirless card is getting detected in the device device manager, but the driver is not installed correctly. If you have the drivers cd, go ahead and install the driver for the Intel 3945 card. You can also download the driver off our support site, by following this link http://dell.to/cdtNxV, please make sure you select the correct operating system before you install. Let me know if that worked.
Thank you
