Lüfterton und Spulenfiepen 9560
Hallo, ich habe seit 4 Woche ein Dell XPS 15 gekauft und erstmal aus verschiedene Grunde benutzen nicht könnte. Jetzt habe ich damit 2 Probleme. Spullenfiepen ist mehr oder weniger tolerierbar wenn ich keine Ladegerät benutzte, mit Gerät ist noch Lauter und sehr nervig. Das 2. Problem ist Lüfterton bei niedrieger RPM, hier ist ein Demo Es ist immer so wenn das Gerät nicht von der Akku arbeitet. Der Ton ist hoch(Frequenz meine ich) und sehr nervig, wenn RPM höherer sind, klingt alles ganz ok. Ich würde gerne mit Techniker im Online Chat spreche, es ist aber irgendwie immer nicht verfügbar und Email kann ich nicht schreiben da Dell System Detect funktioniert nicht bei mir. Hi all,
recently I have bought Dell XPS 15 9560 laptop and as some other people experienced coil whine and kinda annoying low rpm fan whine. After I have talked to the support, which was very nice btw, the problems are still there and nothing could have been done. For me, personally, there is a very simple solution to my problem: as long as I do not here coil whine and it is not a sign of deteriorating hardware, i do not care if it is there, fan noise does not irritate me when the RPM is higher. The solution for me would be to simply be able to raise the fan rpm(coil whine is mostly really a big problem when the laptop is plugged in, so battery drain is not an issue in this case) and, as a result, to avoid high pitch noise and also basically drown out the coil whine. I was told that sadly the controller of the fan is locked which right now makes it impossible to use any fan control software to raise the speed. I would suggest Dell making it possible to raise the speed of the fans but not to lower it beyond a certain threshold. This will be ideal for people like me who are annoyed by low rpm noise and coil whine but are fine with some louder white noise. I hope somebody from dell will see this post and read it :)

Hi Alex,
bezüglich der Lüftersteuerung gibt es zwar kein direktes Tool von Dell, aber mit dem Dell Power Manager kann man Einfluss auf die Energieprofile und Temperaturentwicklung im System nehmen. Damit kann man indirekt auch die Lüfter beeinflussen.
Vieleicht hilft Dir das ja.
