Connect latitude L7300 to a 4K at 60Hz external monitor (U2720Q)
I have a Dell laptop Latitude L7300 with the following specs:
8th Gen Intel Core i7-8665U Processor
Intel UHD 620 Graphics
1 x Thunderbolt™ 3 with Power Delivery and DisplayPort
1 x HDMI 1.4
I want to purchase and connect to a Dell U2720Q monitor.
My questions are:
1. is my laptop capable to transmit 4K at 60 Hz to an external monitor?
2. will I get 4K at 60Hz on the external monitor if I connect it via Thunderbolt™ 3 to DisplayPort in the monitor?
3. will I be able to connect 2 external monitors of 4k at 60 Hz? maybe via dell deck WD15..?
4. The highest resolution I can currently pick is 1920x1080, will I have the option to choose higher res on the external monitor?

@Zroove The manual for the U2720Q available on support.dell.com indicates that the display will provide up to 90W of power when using a USB-C connection, which is plenty of power for a 13" Latitude would need. But if you do that, then with your system if you wanted to run 4K 60 Hz, you'd only be able to carry USB 2.0. Being able to carry 4K 60 Hz video and USB 3.x over USB-C would require a system that supported DisplayPort 1.4/HBR3 over USB-C, and yours only supports DP 1.2/HBR2. Of course using a USB-C to DP cable would ONLY handle video, with no power or USB data at all. Unfortunately if you wanted 4K 60 Hz and USB 3.0 with your system, then you'd have to use a USB-C to DP cable for video and then a USB-C to USB-A cable for USB 3.x data -- but then you're only using the display's USB-C port for USB data rather than power. With your system and that display, there's no way to get power, USB 3.x data, and 4K 60 Hz all from the display at the same time.
Also note that if you use a USB-C connection to that display, you'd only be able to run one 4K 60 Hz display. The HDMI output on your system is only 1.4, which isn't enough for 4K 60 Hz (you need HDMI 2.0 for that), so the only way you'd be able to run dual 4K 60 Hz displays is with one of the solutions I mentioned in my earlier replies. If you use a TB3 to Dual DP adapter, you'll be able to run dual 4K 60 Hz displays from your USB-C/TB3 port, but you won't have USB data or power through that connection. If you want dual 4K 60 Hz displays, power, and USB 3.x all over a single cable, you need a full Thunderbolt 3 dock like the WD19TB.

thank you very much, this is a great detailed answer.
can you please be more specific on the Thunderbolt 3 to Dual DisplayPort adapters that could also run dual 4K 60 Hz?
link to a specific recommended product would be great.
thanks again

@Zroove Happy to help! Below are Amazon US links to various products. I haven't used any of these specific products myself, but I've used other products from all of these vendors because they're all known for consistently quality products. They'll all support dual 4K 60 Hz from TB3 systems, so barring any bizarre interoperability issues between one of these particular products and your particular system, they should all perform exactly the same way, so get whichever one is available, least expensive, most shiny, whatever you want.
Here goes:
Nekteck adapter
Plugable adapter
Sabrent adapter
Sonnet adapter (for some reason, the product image shows HDMI outputs and a "2-pack" logo even though this is a single unit that has DisplayPort outputs)
StarTech adapter

If i will use usb- c to usb-c to connect the monitor, will it also charge my laptop?
Are their any disadvantages comparing to using usb-c to PortalDisplay cable?
