Dell Latitude 5520 Not showing 48GB of installed RAM (Only shows 32GB)

The Maximum Memory shows as being 64GB of RAM on the dell specs page: Latitude 5520 Setup and Specifications | Dell US

Any advice how to fix this? I have 32GB of ram in SLOT A and 16GB in SLOT B, however BIOS only shows 32GB total...not 48GB of RAM. Both sticks are 3200MHZ

1) If I remove the 32GB stick, and leave the 16GB ram the BIOS shows 16gb of installed RAM.

2) If I remove the 16GB stick, and leave the 32GB stick of ram the system shows 16GB of installed RAM.

If both sticks are installed BIOS shows 32GB of installed RAM.

And yes... i have double checked it is 32GB stick of RAM.

48GB of RAM is not listed as a compatible configuration. It is also possible that both RAM are fine but incompatible when used together. Have you tried each RAM module in both slots individually to confirm that the Slots are both working properly?

Yes, both slots work individually and both sticks work together... just not to the Maximum Supported amount. It's strange they don't list a configuration that equals the Maximum Supported amount.
