Help! Installed Windows 7 and cannot connect to internet via Wifi or Ethernet?

Hi, I decided to downgrade from Windows 10 to Windows 7. I installed Windows 7 on my Dell Latitude E6420 totally fine, I then tried to connect to the internet via Wifi and there is nothing to connect to. I then hardwired the Ethernet cable directly to the laptop and still it will not pick up an internet connection. What on earth is going on?  I would really appreciate any help I can get to sort this issue. Thanks, Mark.

You can format your laptop and then you can connect with wifi to check internet connection otherwise you have to upgrade to windows10. It will be better if you will discuss this matter with your relatives, friends, facebook  friends or others.

After installing Windows 7, the drivers need to be installed starting with the chipset driver.
