Intermittent Ethernet Wired connection Issue with Dell Latitude 7330 and 7430

Having the same problem with all of our new 7330 and 7430 Gen12 laptops as we did with the 7320 and 7420, the wired ethernet when using a USB-C dongle intermittently cycles off and on, disconnecting the user from the network. The solution offered in other threads is to set the adapter properties under device manager > realtek usb gbe family controller > advanced > idle power saving > "disabled" however I have found this does not always work. Also take it another step to under device manager > realtek usb gbe family controller > power management > "uncheck, allow the computer to turn off this device..." Keep in mind, when the drive is updated through command update of windows update, settings are lost.
