Latitude 3470, how to decrease VSM size?

Hello!

I use Dell Latitude 3470 with 4GB DDR on board, but only 2,5GB is available in taskmanager of win10x64Pro.

On the same laptop my colleague - available 3.9Gb ( i think SVM-option disabled some where in BIOS).

Please help me to return my 1,4GB DDR RAM from VideoRAM on my laptop.

Thank you very much!

(yes, i use google translate, I apologize for errors in translation)

silverpinetree,

Unfortunately, the onboard video uses shared memory. You cannot change the setting.

Hi, Jesse!

Tell my why then on two identical laptops "latitude 3470" the size of the allocated memory for VSM differs?

silverpinetree,

Get both Latitude 3470 systems side by side. Boot into the BIOS on both. Compare every screen and look for any differences. Then post back and let me know what you found. Do the same for the Device Manager, any differences?
