Memory Test runs every time I turned on the Laptop

Product Latitude 3410

I once had an issue with the laptop which went to a state of unresponsive and had to force close it by holding the power button for a while. Ever since that incident, my laptop runs the "Dell Support Assist Onboard Diagnostics application" with a Memory Test when switched on. The Memory Test always returns Success after about 15-30 minutes scan. This is very annoying. I can simply press "ESC" to stop the scan everytime it runs,  but isn't there a better solution than this?

Update, July 6 DELL-Cares messaging =

* Restart the computer
* Repeatedly tap the F2 key
* Under the BIOS settings, select Update Recovery
* You should find the SupportAssist OS Recovery and the option to turn it off
* You can also increase the count for the Dell Auto OS Recovery Threshold
* Once you make the change, save and restart the system

Try opening Task manager, Startup tab. Disable the memory test if it's there.
