No Boot Option for M.2 SSD In Bios

hello,

Dell Latitude 3500 ha no boot option for M.2 SSD in bios. In windows the SSD is detected. How do i change the boot option to boot from M.2 SSD?

Finally, found out on how to do this! For those who have the same issue, there is an option in the bios to disable/enable drives. Disable your old drive, boot into windows with the new M.2 SSD. Restart and enter bios again and enable back the old drive. Reboot.

It's not clear what you're trying to do, but if it's to make the new drive your Windows boot disc, you either need to clone the existing drive over to it (removing the original before you boot for the first time), or remove the original drive and install a copy of Windows onto the new drive.  Once it successfully boots, you can return the original drive to the system and use it for storage.

You cannot boot into Windows if you don't set the boot priority first in bios, which in this case there is no option to put the M.2 as the first boot option.
