Dell XPS 13 9350 boot from USB type-c drive
Hi,
I saw there's an option in the BIOS saying allow booting from a USB type-c device, and it is disable by default. Has anyone tried to boot from a type-c drive yet? Did you had any issue?
Thanks,
David

I had the same issue with a Dell XPS 13 (7390) with Windows 10 on its disk. When it failed to boot from a USB with Linux on it (to create a dual boot system) I called "Dell tech support". I was told that they only support Windows. I WAS able to boot fro a USB (c) when it had Windows on it, but NOT when it had Linux on it. Thee things should carry a warning: LINUX IS NOT WELCOME! Then we'll know to stay away from them.

The 7390 can definitely boot USB disks with Linux. I would suspect it's related to how you have formatted your USB disk.
Some important things to keep in mind to make it show up in the list:
If any of those fail, it won't show up, or will not be bootable.
