Running Ubuntu 16.04 LTS on a XPS 13 9350. BIOS version is currently 1.4.4... Should I update the BIOS? If so, how?
The only real problem I've had with my XPS (i7, touch) in my 6 months of ownership is the battery life. The touch screen eats up a lot of battery and I've tried everything from TLP to disabling the touch from my BIOS to no avail. From what I've been reading, updating the BIOS can increase battery life. As someone who isn't the most technologically savvy, how would I update it? My only fear is touching something and f**king something up when I've dealt with this lackluster battery life since I've owned the laptop. Appreciate any responses. Thanks.
