Touchpad tap-click latency
Running Ubuntu Gnome 15.04, I noticed there's a significant delay between your finger leaving the touchpad and a click event being generated.
For anyone else who encounters this issue, it was easily fixed by setting `SingleTapTimeout` to 0 in synclient:
sudo apt-get install -y synclient
synclient SingleTapTimeout=0
Note that the setting is not persisted across boots; to do so you need to create a config file in `/etc/X11/xorg.conf.d`. `man synaptics` documents the various properties, and http://en.community.dell.com/techcenter/os-applications/f/4613/t/19640407 gives an example.
