Inspiron G3 i7-8750H, Linux not working
Hi.
I have a laptop dell G3 i7-8750H to this same I tried to install several distributions of linux from ubuntu, debian etc. but it was not possible in debian does not start or the live-CD, in ubuntu was the closest but has a problem of slowness the keyboard and mouse freeze, checking the processor I realized that was in the lowest frequency try to increase the often but it was impossible, I was shown an incompatibility problem so I went to this forum to see if anyone could solve this problem and could install any Linux distribution on this machine.

Debian is too old and too slow.

The G3 15 3579 can in fact be ordered with UBUNTU pre installed.

1.5 is the current bios.
Although Debian releases since Wheezy (7.0) have included general UEFI support, there are still some features that have not yet been implemented. UEFI support in live images Since the first release of Stretch (9.0) are not exactly easy to get booted via NVME PCI-E storage.
The Dell XPS 13 refresh in September brought the Intel Kaby Lake-R (8th gen) processors has only been available with Windows so far.
