Latitude 14-5480, Ubuntu, after suspend pointstick don't work
Hi. Recently I bought new Dell latitude 5480-9187 with OS Ubuntu 16.04. It new with OS from Dell without any software or drivers, just from box. All work perfect, but if I close lid, after wake up the pointstick dont work. I repeated this a few times, and every time result the same. And one time after open lid, not only pointstick stopped working but and touchpad too. To repair this I must reboot laptop. I expected that new dell laptop must work without any magic from me. I cant use laptop that able to stop working ant any time after a close lid! Is it normal? And how fix it?

Well, after one work day without reboot, now I have laptop without pointstick and touchpad, only external mouse work. Maybe someone from DELL support team tell me what the is happening? I bought dell business laptop not to jump around it and do rain dance!

Well, i didn't do anything special, but after a few
sudo apt-get update && apt-get upgrade
problem is gone. Now all work perfect.
