Replacing grub with Windows MBR
I have a Dimension 4700 that I'm running dual boot with Windows XP3 SP3 on one drive and Linux on a second.
I want to replace grub in the MBR with a Windows MBR. All the instructions I've seen tell me to use the Windows XP install CD, then get to the rescue screen.
But I don't have any Windows XP install CD. I have a Dell Reinstallation CD, XP SP2. Does this CD amount to the same thing? Does it have a recovery screen from which I can issue fixmbr? I do not want to reinstall XP, and especially not SP2.

Yes, use the Dell OS Reinstallation CD, XP SP2.
