Ubuntu 10.04 (inspiron 1150)
I've been trying to install Ubuntu 10.04 on an Inspiron 1150. Ubuntu starts to boot, then the screen goes black and nothing further.
I've tried CD, USB, and withing windows- all with the same result. Any suggestions?

This problem may be related to the video chipset. I had the same problem with Ubuntu 10.04 and my Dell Latitude D400.
