need help installing Ubuntu

I bought my Dell XPS L502X in 2011. It is working fine till now. But now I need to install Ubuntu 18.04 or any ver. or Opensuse or anything Linux based for my work. But it failed all the times I tried. I read the comments in community, videos, tried everything tweak I could but no success. Now can anyone tell me is it even possible to install Ubuntu 16/18/20 or Opensuse at all in this model of Dell XPS L502X (2011 model, i5-2410, Intel graphics3000, nvidia52m, 8gb ram, Bios A12 updated)!

download ubuntu iso, burn a pendrive + make it bootable, boot from the USB and then you can install it from there

Thanks for reply but tried all possible methods but no success. Found some articles saying about UEFI Legacy boot and some other config but even after updating my BIOS there is no option as such, also they say it's the Dell made sure to not to give all the control of hardware lock or some bios update or something to the user. It's not going to happen in my XPS but thanks anyway. I got some other solution with other Laptop other than Dell.

A 2011 model with i5-2xxx likely has a Legacy Only BIOS. You will therefore need to create the Bootable USB using the MBR Partition Scheme and NTFS file format with Rufus.

Maybe try to switch AHCI mode under BIOS menu?
