Request quote for repair of PowerEdge R815
Hello,
we have a PowerEdge R815 server that does not boot; it seems to have a 'no power' failure. As this machine runs external web-servers, we would like to get it repaired as soon as possible. Can you please send me a quote for a diagnostic and an on-site repair?
It is a PowerEdge R815 server with 4x AMD Opteron processors and 512GB RAM.
We know that one of the DIMMs is broken, but this has not interfered with the server running. So far, it was working without problems.

Hi,
Your server model is end of life, so we don't have available part anymore.
To help you to determine which part is broken I propose you to read and apply these article below :

Troubleshooting a Server that does not start (No Power, No POST or No Boot)
You could also test to connect PSU outside the server and check the led status. If both are green outside the server, MB and PDB have probably to be replaced. If one or both are amber, PSU have to be replaced.
When part will be identified, you could buy it on a broker website.
