monitoring Dell servers running ESXi 5.5 using SCOM 2012 R2
Hi,
What's the best way to monitor Dell servers (eg. PE750, 1950, 2950, R310, R610), running VMWare ESXi 5.5, using SCOM 2012 R2 ?
We have the Dell Management Pack 5.1 installed on SCOM 2012 R2. Through SCOM, we're monitoring our Dell Windows servers with OMSA, but none of the VMWare servers yet.

You can use the DRAC MP for basic alert-based monitoring. For 12th Generation PowerEdge Servers onwards, you can use the Agent-Free (Out Of Band/WSMan) for getting detailed inventory as well.
