DELL VENUE 8 PRO INTEL SYSTEM DRIVE UPDATE 10.11.38

installing this DELL VENUE 8 PRO INTEL SYSTEM DRIVE UPDATE 10.11.38 removes all touch operation of my tablet and makes it into a desktop. The only way I could operate the tablet was to plug a mouse and keyboard into it in tandem. Which was a hassle. My only recourse after running a diagnostic which did not find any problems, was to do a hard boot of the system. I tried deleting update but it would not let me. I have not reinstalled this update for obvious reasons.

Any answers or input?
