Dell Venue 10 shuts down when sound is too loud

I have a Venue 10 Pro 5055 with Windows 10 installed, and have encountered an issue where the device instantly shuts down when I play certain audio files, or use audio in an application, at max volume, and battery level <70%. This does not occur if the device is plugged in and charging, however. 

Is there any fix to this problem? I would like to be able to use max volume for any media or application without worrying about the tablet shutting down on me randomly. 

I also have an Android version of this tablet (Dell Venue 10 5050) with the same issue.
