Why does the Acer Iconia tablet with 1 gig ram work but the Dell Venue 8 doesn't?
Hi,
I have heard that the Dell Venue 8 model 3840 is so slow because it only has 1 gig of ram. I have an Acer Iconia 500 tablet that has only 1 gig ram and it does my behave like the Dell at all. The Dell is extremely slow and I can only browse a few web pages before it slows way down or freezes. And forget about playing games. Do what is the Dell's problem? There has to be something Dell can do.

May be this tablet has dellcast that hogs the ram which no other tablet does. This is the only reason I can think up. Anyways the latest updates have helped and disable unnecessary apps. Thank you.
